BUDAPEST, Hungary — Lando Norris broke Max Verstappen’s winner’s trophy on the Hungarian Grand Prix after knocking it off the highest step of the rostrum whereas celebrating.
Verstappen received Sunday’s race by over 30 seconds from Norris, who took second place for McLaren forward of the Pink Bull of Sergio Perez.
Through the conventional celebrations, Norris slammed his champagne bottle on the primary place step of the rostrum immediately subsequent to Verstappen’s trophy.
The highest three drivers on the Hungarian Grand Prix obtain handmade porcelain trophies which are crafted over six months and value $44,500 to make.
